Watching the video of Glenn Beck's "Restoring Honor" event in Washington, DC it's not hard to feel the magnitude of this event. I'm not going to get caught up in the numbers game but it's obvious the attendance was well above the expected 100,000. I encourage you to spend some time watching this momentous and historic event. An interesting factoid: John Koster is the only Congressional Republican challenger that beat a Democrat incumbent in the whole United States!

Washington Rep. Rick Larsen hasn’t been widely mentioned on the roster of at-risk Democrats this fall — but if primary results are any indication, he’s got a serious challenge on his hands.

Fresh vote results out of last week’s all-party primary show Republican John Koster, a Snohomish County Council member, leading Larsen by 276 votes. Larsen and Koster finished well atop a five-candidate field that included retired fraud investigator Diana McGinness, mechanical designer John Carmack and Whatcom Transportation Authority finance staffer Larry Kalb. WASHINGTON—Democrats for the first time are acknowledging that Republicans could retake the Senate this November if everything falls into place for the GOP, less than two years after Democrats held a daunting 60-seat majority.

Leaders of both parties have believed for months that Republicans could win the House, where every lawmaker faces re-election. But a change of party control in the Senate, where only a third of the members are running and Republicans must capture 10seats, seemed out of the question.
