Dear Fellow Warriors,

This election season has reaped few triumphs and many burdens!  We bring to your attention our list of scriptures and points to stimulate personal and corporate intercession—join us, won’t you? We trust in God, not in man therefore we have HOPE, and HOPE does not disappoint (Romans 5:5).

We can pray confidently for the President-elect and for all those elected in authority over us:

"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone– for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” I Tim. 2:1-2

Pray for government leaders: wisdom, integrity, protection, guidance, and awareness of God’s presence in their minds and hearts in order to pass legislation in line with the principles of God’s Word.

…”who desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.”  I Tim. 2: 4

Ask God for their salvation: claiming that “all men would be saved

“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble…humble yourselves in the presence of God and He will exalt you.”  James 4: 6-8

Pray for all true Christians to repent and activate as good soldiers for the ‘Cause of Christ’. Pray also that God’s people will pray for their leaders and act to correct issues regarding the moral and spiritual climate of our country.

For the President-elect:
The prayers of the righteous can still have great impact on the president-elect, his family, advisors and those in authority; for the glory of God.

  • Wisdom in the decisions he will make, counselors/cabinet he is choosing right now and in the future.
  • The Supreme Court Appointment he will make would support life and uphold our constitution. (this is one for the miraculous requests)
  • For protection for him and his family, and true salvation in Jesus Christ, as he claims.

There is a comforting promise from Ephesians 3:20:
“Now to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever, Amen.”
