In January we purchased a home for our family of four in Renton. It was built in the 80’s, so it’s certainly not new, just new to us. This is a major expense for our young family, and we will have to carefully budget our paychecks as we adjust to our new monthly mortgage payment.

Washington Eagle Forum State Report - January 2017
Our Washington State Legislature began its 2017 session on January 9th and is scheduled to end April 23rd. There is however very little hope of it actually ending on time, and both Democrats and Republicans are predicting special sessions to follow.
As Phyllis taught us there is always danger to citizens when legislatures are in session. So far over 1400 bills have been introduced and no taxpayer is safe!
